Overview
Leyland Trade's oil based eggshell paint in Brilliant White is easy to apply and gives a durable, knock resistant mid sheen finish, for interior wood and metals. It also offers great sag resistance, so it's ideal for slanted or vertical places, such as up the stairs or on door frames. It gives a smooth, washable finish.

| Clean Up | Remove as much of the Leyland Trade Satinwood as possible from the brush or roller before cleaning. Clean your equipment straight away after use with White Spirit or Turpentine Substitute |
Preparation
It's important to ensure that the surface to be painted is sound, clean, dry and free from grease.
- Remove all loose and defective paint and prime all new and bare surfaces with a primer such as .
- Rub down sound previously painted surfaces with fine waterproof abrasive paper to provide a key for the paint. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding to avoid inhaling dust particles. Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960s paint surfaces over wood and metal as they may contain harmful lead.
Application
Always perform a test on a small inconspicuous area to ensure compatibility, and we recommend following the manufacturer's instructions found on the tin.
- Stir well before use and apply one or two coats, as necessary, to a clean, dry, grease free surface.
- Take care not to overspread
- Leave 16-24 hours before recoating
