Overview
Johnstone's Trade Vinyl Silk is a water-based emulsion ideal for interior walls and ceilings. Formulated to provide a long-lasting, fade resisting, washable silk finish, this high quality Johnstone's brilliant white paint is suitable to use in places requiring durable finishes like hallways and bedrooms.
Note: In areas subject to frequent condensation (e.g. some kitchens and bathrooms), is more suitable.

Preparation
Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from dirt and grease.
- Remove any loose or flaking material
- Rub down previously gloss painted surfaces with fine waterproof abrasive paper and rinse thoroughly
- Seal absorbent surfaces with a coat of Johnstone's Trade Vinyl Silk thinned up to 10% with clean water
Application
Always test a small area of the surface to be painted to ensure you are happy with the finished results
- Stir thoroughly before use to ensure the paint is completely mixed
- Johnstone's Trade Vinyl Silk paint can be applied by brush, roller or spray
- Ensure good ventilation during application and drying
Always follow manufacturer's instructions found on the tin
Aftercare & Storage
Store the paint in dry conditions and protect from extremes of temperature.
After use firmly secure the lid and store in a secure upright position.
