Preparation

Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from dirt and grease.

• Remove any loose or flaking material
• Rub down bare timber surfaces with dry glasspaper to remove raised grain and sharp edges
• Apply Johnstone's Trade Woodworks Knotting Solution to knots and resinous surfaces
• Prime bare metal surfaces with the appropriate Johnstone's Trade primer
• Rub down previously painted surfaces with fine waterproof abrasive paper and rinse thoroughly

Application

Always test a small area of the surface to be painted to ensure you are happy with the finished results

• Stir thoroughly before use to ensure the paint is completely mixed
• Johnstone's Trade Joncryl primer can be applied by brush, roller or sprayer
• Apply liberally, brushing firmly into the surface
• Ensure good ventilation during application and drying

Always follow manufacturer's instructions found on the tin

Aftercare & Storage

Store the paint in dry conditions and protect from extremes of temperature.

After use firmly secure the lid and store in a secure upright position.
